FAQs: FAQ

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?

On your first visit your therapist will complete an evaluation of your injury or condition and determine their treatment plan which they'll begin working on with you that day. You can expect your appointment to last about one hour. We'd appreciate you arriving 10-15 minutes before your first appointment to get your registration in order. If you need to be finished by a specific time, please let us know at the beginning of your session.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

It all depends on the nature of your treatment, and body part being treated, but we suggest you wear a t-shirt, shorts or sweatpants and trainers if possible. Changing rooms are available for your comfort and convenience.

HOW TO PAY?

We are an out-of-network provider from all insurance carriers so we do not accept health insurance plans. We operate as a cash-based practice and we do not contract with insurance providers. We accept cash and credit cards and PayPal. Payment is due at the time of service.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

If you have in your possession reports such as MRI, or x-rays it would be beneficial if you bring them.

WHY DON’T WE TAKE INSURANCE?

We are athlete specialists and its our mission to provide a holistic approach to your health by providing you with the best experience tailored to your goals. In order to provide this high quality, personalised care, we choose quality over quantity. Unlike traditional clinics, your care will not be dictated or influenced by health insurance companies. Therefore, by not accepting health insurance, we offer only the services that you need to achieve your goals. Each of our clients receive one-on-one, hands-on treatment, which allows us to gain results faster in a shorter amount of time.

Most importantly, in addition to rehabbing injuries, we specialise in preventing injuries, optimising recovery from training, and improving your performance. These services are not typically covered by insurance and are essential to staying healthy long-term. You put a lot of time and money into training, however let this be an investment in your health with a well-rounded performance plan, which includes injury prevention, biomechanics, and adequate recovery.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL FOR TREATMENT?

No. Self-referral is our most common source however, we do receive referral from other medical professionals.
